presenting honeymoon cami!

i finished the honeymoon cami this weekend! it did not go as smoothly as i had hoped, i ripped it off many times due to my own carelessness in following the pattern. it could be better, but i'm happy with the way it had turned out.

this is a very fast project, the ribbing at the bottom is very simple yet elegant! i was going to make it to be more elaborate but opted not to. the body shaping is quite straight forward but does all the magic! i especially love th deep V neckline back and front. the yarn i used is perfect for this project. the garment is quite light after it's finished, and i love the color a lot!

i can not wait for the summer to be here so i can wear it to the beach!

if you would like to make this cami, there's a knitalong going on!

I just have to say - I love the cami, but I especially love the location you've had your photo taken. I grew up in Minnesota, but have been living in Los Angeles for a good chunk of time. In fact, I'm currently sitting in the loft of a 2nd story apartment listening to the sounds of Popo sirens and helicopters circling nearby....

wow, looks beautiful! perfect fit and excellent finishing.

I love the cami in linen drape! I have some in my own stash, so I may just have to make another in it eventually. You look stunning!

Beautifully done, very flattering. You should join the ScienceKnits ring. If you go to my blog, there is a link to it...

Your cami looks fabulous on you...Great job! I am still knitting away on mine and I'd better get done soon, the temperature here is going up fast.

that looks sensational! well done on such a successful project.

I made a honeymoon cami for my best friend and really enjoyed it. Seeing yours makes me want one for myself. I like the linen drape a lot. It fits wonderfully and is very flattering on you.

Wow - it looks FABULOUS on you. What an amazing job!I'm with you - I can't wait for summer either. I hope if gets here soon.

That looks awesome on you.. You did a great job! I looked at the pattern and it looks really complicated to make... I don't think I am quite there yet... but, just so you know, I really admire your work!

I love your Honeymoon cami. It fits you so beautifully! I may have to knit this one.

It looks gorgeous on you! I'm just finishing mine up and was wondering if you could tell me what you used for support under there. You look amazing!KarenKoolsheep's knitblog

I love your honeymoon cami! I have a ton of Rowan Linen Drape in my stash. When I saw that a suggested substitution was Linen Drape, I had to look for an example. How many skeins did you use? What length needles?
